Not that much has happened since my last post.   I did want to upload video clips of the TobyMac concert but that is on hold until I get access to some strong wifi.
It's cold everywhere so I'm not going to go on about the weather. 

This is a nice location and it probably be hopping around here in the summer.

What a ride. Nov. 10 

My friends, Ben and Phyllis took me to Max Patch. It took approximately 1 1/2 hours up and 1 1/2 hour down. Can't go fast either way. Winding narrow gravel road. Testing my nerves as I held on and held my breathe on occasion too.

Nov. 11

Spent the day (4 1/2 hours) travelling to Kentucky, as it was recommended to avoid bad weather. 

I truly do not want to miss the concert on Friday in Lexington at Northeast Christian Church. 

So I'm staying at Whispering Hills RV Park in Georgetown Kentucky until Friday. 

(25 minutes to the Church in good weather)

This is the view from their home. Beautiful, but getting up here was more of a challenge than what I was willing to take. I let the pro drive my vehicle up here. When it is time to leave, I'm letting him drive it down too.

We went to Asheville for breakfast this morning. On the trip back watched balloons gently floating by. 

Arrive in North Carolina

In Waynesville right now at a friends home. Camped out in their driveway. I surprised her by my visit. That was my plan. (photo - my friend and her grand-daughter)

She graciously allowed me to stay the night, had a great dinner delivered by her son and daughter-in-law. It is so wonderful visiting distant friends, rehashing the past, the "remember when" moments pop into our heads.

This lady was the start of my desire to follow Jesus. She invited me to church 2004/2005 and I haven't looked back. We are going to meet up again this Sunday at the same church. I am so blessed.
