This is sort of an anniversary. After a very long nerve wrecking drive towing a trailer with some personal possessions, one year ago today, I returned to Canada at approximately this time 6:00 pm. I was advised at customs that you can't just come back this way? Not sure what that meant. I still don't, other than paper work forever.
The next day I was put on this tractor. No experience at this. I had a crash course in tractor
operation and trail and error on digging trees. Nerves were put to the test. The weather was cold. I wore winter coveralls, coat, hat and anything else that I could put on. I thought I was going to freeze to death. What was I thinking. Canada?Today, I wouldn't have it any other way.
When I got finished killing weeds today, I took these pictures. I missed being part of the crew. Mind you, it was a beautiful day. I'm just glad I get to
work there, on nice days. So, I guess I have it made. IGA bakery toasty warm job and sunny day nursery ground control and home control on all the rest of the days. Life is great!
